Before you know it, the days will be getting longer, the temperatures will be getting milder, and bulbs will be bravely peeking out, preparing to put on a show.  And, speaking of putting on a spring show . . . have we got a Garden Party for you!  To accompany our amazing basket showcases and expansive silent auction, we’ve brought the FASHION SHOW back . . . making this a Garden Party not to be missed!

Garden Party 2012 will be held on Wednesday, May 30, at the Q Center in St. Charles, starting at 10 a.m.  Come enjoy the premier event of the spring; come alone (you won’t be alone for long!) or consider making it a “girls’ day out” and invite seven of your closest friends to fill your own table . . . have a few drinks, enjoy a luscious lunch, catch up on the latest what’s what . . . and check out the latest spring fashions!

This amazing event hosts over 800 guests, and raises more than a quarter of FVVH’s operating budget.  Tickets are $65 and go on sale April 25 at 8 a.m. You'll be able to purchase them on-line (below), at the FVVH office, or by calling (630) 232-2233.  Those purchasing tickets on April 25 will receive one free raffle ticket.  Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted in person; credit cards only accepted by phone and on-line. 

The fashion show is being produced by local shops Jeans and a Cute Top in St. Charles and Special Occasions on the Avenue in Batavia.  They’ll be featuring an array of spring fashions – from casual to dressy -- to fit various body types and budgets.

In addition, our dedicated committee has been working for months to put together our amazing basket showcases – groupings of items, gift certificates, services that are focused on a theme – each to be taken home by a lucky winner!  We’re bring back many of the popular basket showcases – like Fantasy Getaway, Chicago Chicago, and Patio Pleasures – and some exciting new ones like Imagine the Possibilities (a loaded Visa card to use for whatever you choose . . . we’re adding value to it daily) and Shop ‘Til You Drop (stuffed with gift cards from retail shops throughout the Fox Valley area). And, as usual, we’re offering our expansive silent auction, with great deals on great stuff for you and your family – from jewelry to art; from family fun packages to great seats at Cubs and Sox games; from lodging in romantic places to libations for a perfect party in your own back yard.  Many of these items would make great Father’s Day presents, graduation gifts, or an amazing surprise for the sports fan in your house.  We’re offering a BUY IT NOW feature for that item that you just have to have – so come early!
