Hospice Care
Nurturing care for the individual, their family and caregiver is our primary concern. This volunteer driven service involves a professional nursing assessment and includes an interdisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, bereavement counselors and clergy. We provide equipment and supplies such as wheelchairs, bath benches, hospital type gowns and Ensure. Trained volunteers provide support, guidance and respite. We also provide community referral and case coordination services regardless of age or Medicare eligibility. Our objective is to retain the best highly trained volunteer network so as to continue to provide these needed services free of charge.
