VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Volunteers are an integral part of Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice and the true heart of the organization.  Each volunteer is valued and respected for the gifts they bring to the work of hospice.

Those new to FVVH who are interested in attending any of the sessions below are required to first contact Elise C. Wall, Manager of Volunteer Services, at (630) 232-2233, ext. 219, ewall@fvvh.org.

All sessions take place at FVVH, 200 Whitfield Drive, Geneva.

Volunteer Orientation
If you are interested in volunteering with FVVH in any capacity, the first step is to complete an interview with the Manager of Volunteer Services. After that, you'd need to attend our Volunteer Orientation prior to becoming an active volunteer to learn about the history of FVVH, volunteer opportunities and more.  We also encourage our current volunteers to attend one of these informational presentations.  Volunteer orientation will take place on:

or
Thursday, March 11, 2010, 6 to 9 p.m.
